Brightwell Aquatics Purit is a next-generation chemical filtration media designed to drastically improve water quality in reef, planted, and fish-only aquariums. It combines enhanced activated carbon with NSF-grade ion-exchange and adsorptive resins, delivering superior filtration performance compared to traditional carbon alone.

Purit works fast to remove chloramines, ammonia, nitrate, phosphate, silicate, copper, lead, and other unwanted substances from your water. It also helps reduce organic waste, improves oxidation-reduction potential (ORP), eliminates discoloration, and neutralizes odors caused by decaying organics.
