(67.6 fl. oz.) is a liquid bioavailable organic carbon supplement designed to promote lush and healthy growth for live aquarium plants
What It Does
Carbon Source: Provides a convenient alternative or supplement to pressurized CO2 injection by introducing organic carbon compounds (photosynthetic intermediates).
Iron Reduction: Helps promote the ferrous state of iron (Fe⁺²), which plants absorb more easily than ferric iron (Fe⁺³).
Algae Management: Commonly used in the hobby to help suppress certain types of algae (such as Blackbeard algae).
Safety: Contains no phosphate or nitrate and is safe for fish when used at recommended doses, though caution is advised with sensitive plants like Anacharis (dose every other day)
Dosing Instructions
Initial use or after a >40% water change: Use 1 capful (5 mL) for every 40 L (10 US gallons).
Maintenance dose: Use 1 capful (5 mL) for every 200 L (50 US gallons) daily or every other day
Note: Each cap thread holds approximately 1 mL for smaller tanks.
